Diseñador gráfico independiente, ha participado en diversos colectivos: Kiltraza, Alambique Veloz (banda punk experimental), Ergocomics (historieta), entre otros. El año 2004, junto a Ignacio Nieto e Italo Tello, crean el colectivo TROYANO orientado a desarrollar proyectos de difusión en torno a la relación entre arte, ciencia y tecnología. Como diseñador y artista ha colaborado en diferentes libros y exposiciones dentro y fuera de Chile. Vive y trabaja en Santiago de Chile. Ha desarrollado diversas presentaciones como creador visual, colaborando con imágenes para diversos artistas y colectivo entre los que destacan Mankacen (Alejandro Albornoz), Pueblo Nuevo y el danés Lars Gaaugard. Sus actuales intereses giran en torno a entender los procesos tecnológicos actuales en un marco que incluya una visiones y conceptos provenientes de evolución biológica, social y económica. Junto a su novia María José Ríos  (VyV) conforma el proyecto visual-sonoro “01” con quien ha realizado diversas presentaciones en Santiago de Chile.

Proyecto paralelo de María José Ríos y Ricardo Vega, en el que buscan indagar en la relación entre imagen y sonido. Ambos creadores provienen de la visualidad, trabajando la imagen en diversas estrategias (comic, ilustración, pintura, imagen electrónica, montajes, objetos, etc), pero sin formación teórica ni practica en lo musical. Esta ambivalencia es la condicionante de la cual parten ambos para explorar lo sonoro y su relación con lo visual. Como adentrándose en un campo minado donde no se sabe que se encontrara, pisando con cuidado el terreno, sin saber como se han metido ahí y menos en como saldrán.

Independent graphic designer, he has collaborated in different art collectives: Kiltraza, Alambique Veloz (experimental punk band), Ergocomics (comic), among others. In 2004, join to Ignacio Nieto and Italo Tello to create the collective TROYANO oriented to develop projects related to the relatio between art, science and technology. As a designer and artist he has collaborated in differents books and exhibitions in Chile and abroad. Live and work in Santiago de Chile. He has participated in many presentations as a visual creator, colaborating with visuals and images to artistas and collectives, like Mankacen (Alejandro Albornoz), Pueblo Nuevo and the danish Lars Gaaugard. His actual interest are focusing on understanding the recent tecnological processes, in a framework that includes concepts of biological evolution, social and economic. With his girlfriend  María José Ríos (VyV) create the visual-sonic proyect “01”, participating in many concerts in Santiago de Chile.

Parallel project of María José Rios and Ricardo Vega, here they invesigate in the relation between sound and image. They both are visual artist and designers, working the image in differents estrategies (comic, illustration, painting, electronic image, collage, objets, etc), but without theoretical and practical training in the musical field. This ambivalence is the condition where they both start to explore the sound and their relation with the visuallity. Like stepping into a minefield, where they don´t known what they will find, treading the ground with care, not knowing how they got there.
